Our Definition of Quality
We are a benchmark practice in the Province of Ontario for achievement in the 5 designated preventative care areas which include: Mammograms, Fecal Occult Blood Test (FOBT), Children’s Immunizations, Paps and Flu shots. We are also one of the top performing practices in Chronic Disease Management through our outcomes in diabetes care.
Since 2008, through our “Advanced Access” initiative, we have endeavoured to provide patients with same day access to their primary care provider.
Capacity
We limit the size of our practice to the number of patients for whom we can provide excellent levels of quality care. Our current capacity is 65 patients per doctor hour per week.
Cost
We are responsible stewards of the public funds entrusted to us for the care of our patients. Our quality services are provided for our community of patients at a cost of $306 per patient per year.
